PM interacts with students at “Pariksha Pe Charcha 2020”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed the exam on Monday (20 January). At Talkatora Stadium, Pim Modi gave many tips to the students to avoid exam stress. PM Modi gave the example of Chandrayaan-2 and told the students how to deal with failure. About 2,000 students participated in the event, out of which 1,050 students were selected through essay competition. To a question on what are the rights of the students and on how to make the citizens aware of their duties, the Prime Minister said that an individual’s rights are embedded in his duties.
Giving an example of a teacher, he said, if a teacher performs his duties then he is fulfilling the rights of the students.
Referring to what the Father of the Nation opined on the issue, the Prime Minister said, “Mahatma Gandhi said that there are no fundamental rights but fundamental duties”.
“Today, I am talking to students who would be playing a key role in India’s development in 2047, when we mark a hundred years since independence. I hope this generation takes it upon themselves to act on some of the Fundamental Duties enshrined in our Constitution”, he said.

PM Modi said that science and technology have changed lives in the last period of the last century and the beginning of this century. Therefore, the fear of technology should not be allowed in your life. When a student asked questions related to the lack of interest in studies or studies, the Prime Minister said that often the enthusiasm of the students decreases due to many reasons which are not under their control. One reason for this is that they try to give too much importance to their expectations.
The Prime Minister asked the students to find out the reason for the decline in enthusiasm and also to brainstorm how these situations should be dealt with. He gave an example of a recent account of his visit to Chandrayaan and ISRO.
The Prime Minister said, "It is very common to see a decrease in motivation and enthusiasm. Everyone has to go through these feelings. In this regard, I can never forget my visit to ISRO during Chandrayaan and the time spent with our very hard working scientists. '
He said, "We should not see failures as deep tremors or major obstacles. We can include enthusiasm in every aspect of life. Any kind of temporary shock does not mean that we cannot succeed in life. Actually, any setback means that the best is yet to be achieved. We should try to change our distressed circumstances as we move towards a brighter future. '
The Prime Minister also gave an example of how Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman gave India a resounding victory in the most difficult situations during the 2001 cricket match between India and Australia by battling them out in very difficult conditions.
The Prime Minister gave another example of how Indian bowler Anil Kumble had raised India's pride by performing brilliantly despite a deep injury to himself.

About the sudden drop of mind during the examination, the Prime Minister told the students to complete their preparation.
He said, "I would ask the students to be confident about the preparation." They should not enter the examination hall with any kind of pressure. Don't get upset about what other people are doing. Have faith in yourself and pay attention to the preparations you have made.

The Prime Minister said, "There are many opportunities available today and I hope that the youth will use them properly and will leave no stone unturned to fulfill their passion or interest."
However, he cautioned the parents not to allow their children's extra-curricular activities to become a fashion statement or a specialty.
